An air leak detection detector was installed on a building in Colorado, but residents in the home haven’t seen any signs of it.
According to the Denver Post, the air leak detectors were installed in a residential neighborhood in Colorado.
A few weeks ago, neighbors noticed a large amount of smoke coming from the area.
Neighbors started complaining about the smell to the building manager, who noticed a big pile of insulation on the sidewalk.
When the homeowner complained about the odor, she found the detector was not functioning properly.
The homeowner contacted her local fire department, who then contacted the city.
The fire department called the Denver Police Department and the owner of the building was arrested on suspicion of violating city code.
The owner of this building has not been charged.
